Independent profile snapshot

This extended snapshot summarises how the provider presents itself in the UK market. It supplements the dataset-led summary above.

Boundless Networks is one of the UK's leading hybrid Fixed Wireless and Full Fibre broadband providers, operating an independent end-to-end fibre-backed microwave network across rural Lancashire and Yorkshire with headquarters at The Mill House, Albion Mills, Willerby HU10 6DN and a site at Leeds Bradford Airport's Southside Aviation Centre. Registered as Boundless Networks Ltd (Companies House 05801757) and founded in 2010 by Managing Director David Burns (also UKWISPA Chairman and founder of Wireless Coverage Ltd), the company pioneered Fibre-to-the-Mast (FTTM) technology delivering 30-100Mbps to homes and up to 1Gbps to businesses via ground-based microwave transmitters that retain full speed up to 5km from base station. Chairman David Hood (co-founder of Pace) has helped build the network's reputation since 2015, and in 2017/18 the business was formed through the merger of LN Communications and Boundless Communications. In July 2021, Boundless Networks was acquired by Quickline Communications (part of Bigblu Broadband PLC), and today covers 3,000+ square miles with over 5,000 live wireless connections.
