TalkTalk is one of the UK's largest value-focused home broadband, TV and landline providers, headquartered in Salford, Greater Manchester. Packages span part-fibre FTTC (35Mbps and 65Mbps) and full-fibre FTTP (150Mbps, 500Mbps and 900Mbps), delivered over both the Openreach and CityFibre networks and covering approximately 95% of UK premises. Prices start from £24 per month on 18-24 month contracts, with a guarantee of no mid-contract price rises for the committed term. TalkTalk's full-fibre rollout on CityFibre now reaches 100+ UK towns and cities, including Coventry and Leeds. The group has been through a major restructure, splitting in 2024-2025 into three independent entities: TalkTalk Consumer (the mass-market residential ISP), PlatformX Communications (wholesale network and platform) and TalkTalk Business (demerged in 2023 and fully independent from February 2026). TalkTalk also absorbed former SSE Broadband and Shell Energy Broadband customer bases via acquisitions in 2022-2024, consolidating its position as a major Openreach and CityFibre-based consumer ISP.
