Started in 2011 as a Forth Valley LEADER-funded project working with local authorities in Stirling, Falkirk and Clackmannanshire, and led by co-owner Jamie Parsons, Briskona now also covers Berwickshire, the Scottish Borders and parts of Northern England, with over 60,000 loyal customers and active partnerships with Stirling Council's rural broadband scheme. Services combine fixed-wireless radio technology with fibre, offering speeds up to 1Gbps, and Briskona is a registered supplier for both the Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme and the Scottish Broadband Voucher Scheme (part of the R100 100% superfast initiative). Past projects include Lake of Menteith, Kilbryde, Keir, Carron Valley, Bannockburn and Blair Drummond, with business customers including Nick Nairn Cook School, Blair Drummond Safari Park, Touch Estate Business Park and the Argaty Red Kite centre.
